Derbyshire Constabulary has many years of experience working in the community and managing partnership arrangements. Multi-agency groups exist across the county working hard to reduce crime and make Derbyshire an even safer place.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 imposes a legal requirement on local authorities, the police and other key agencies to work together at district level to develop and implement strategies for reducing crime and disorder.
