Crime Mapping allows us to show you where crime is happening at a local level, so we can better engage with our communities and help them determine how best to police the area they live in.
Latest crime figures
On the crime mapping website, you can enter your postcode or area name and from this find out the latest street-level crime statistics using a simple, user-friendly interface and highly-detailed maps.
Updated on a monthly basis, the crime statistics show the total numbers of crimes on or near the street you live on, and can then be broken down further into categories such as burglary, robbery, vehicle crime, violence and anti-social behaviour.
Crime outcomes
You can also now see what happened after the offence was committed, from the point of it occuring to how the offence was investigated and dealt with either by ourselves or by the court system.
This could include a caution being issued by the police, a decision that the case cannot be taken any further (for example, because there is a lack of evidence), or an offender being sentenced at court.
