Heage residents urged to have their say on local policing
Residents in Heage are being invited to have their say on policing priorities for their local area.

PC Andrea Smith and PCSO Scott Hunt from the village’s Safer Neighbourhood team are hosting a number of community panel meetings to meet local residents and give them a chance to raise any concerns.

The meetings will take place between 7pm and 8pm on the following dates:

• Tuesday, May 26 at Heage Community Centre on Park Crescent;
• Tuesday, August 13 at Heage Community Centre on Park Crescent;
• Monday, November 16 at Ambergate Primary School on Toadmoor Lane.

Officers will then use public feedback to set policing priorities to focus on for the next three months.

Current priorities for the area are road safety issues including speeding and parking outside schools, and boosting home security.

If you’re unable to attend the meeting but want to have your say, contact the team on 101.
