Chesterfield police investigate hate crime at rugby sports ground

Officers investigating a hate crime at a Chesterfield sports ground are appealing for information.

Offenders used spray paints to write the word ‘Islam’ and draw the Star of David on a playing area of the Chesterfield Panthers Rugby Club on Dunston Road.

The criminal damage took place sometime between 9.30am on Thursday, January 22 and 9.30am on Thursday, February 5.
