Event to offer advice on vehicle security for residents in Brampton

Posted on 25th January 2019

Officers from our Safer Neighbourhood policing teams in Chesterfield are joining forces with the cadets to hold a vehicle security event for local residents in Brampton.

It will take place at the Morrison’s store on Chatsworth Road between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday, January 31.

PCSO Tammy Careless of the local Safer Neighbourhood policing team has helped to organise the event. She said: “The events are all about raising awareness on how local residents can reduce the risk of having their car broken into.

“It’s also an opportunity to speak to your local officers and chat about any concerns or issues in your neighbourhood.”

If you aren’t able to make the event, but would like to speak to your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team, you can get in touch using one of the following non-emergency contact methods.

You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Please note in the event of an emergency you should always call 999.
