Police appeal following suspected arson in Renishaw

Officers are appealing for information following a suspected arson attack at an allotment site in Renishaw.

Offenders burnt down a large wooden greenhouse based on the allotment site along Station Road in Renishaw.

Criminal damage was also caused after thieves smashed the glass panes of two nearby greenhouses, and the window of a shed.

The incident is believed to have taken place overnight between Sunday, January 18 and Monday, January 19.

Anyone with any information about the incident is urged to contact PCSO James Land on 101, quoting crime number 2724/15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
