Police appeal following robbery at Shirebrook market place

Officers investigating a robbery in Shirebrook are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

At around 2.40am on Saturday, June 20, a 33-year-old man was using a cash machine on Victoria Street in Shirebrook when he was approached by three other men.

The offenders threatened the man and demanded cash from him before making off with his bank card. No cash was stolen during the incident.

Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact DC Scott Cooper on 101, quoting crime number 25856/15.
