Posted on 28th November 2014

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the B6013 between Buckland Hollow and Oakerthorpe.

At about 3.20pm on Thursday November 27, a silver Vauxhall Corsa, travelling from the direction of Oakerthorpe appears to have lost control outside the entrance to Coney Grey Farm on Chesterfield Road, Pentrich.

The car skidded off the road and into the verge. The 20-year-old female driver, who is from Ripley, was cut free from the vehicle by the fire service and was treated at the scene by paramedics.  She was taken to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham and is now being treated for her injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who saw the car involved beforehand to contact Derbyshire police on 101 and ask for the collision investigation unit.
