Appeal after alleged assault in Newhall

Police are appealing for information after a man was allegedly assaulted in Newhall.

A 64 year old man was walking along Church Street, outside the church, at around 2.30pm on Sunday, September 6 when he was approached by three other men.

The men allegedly pushed the victim to the ground and punched him, causing the man to suffer grazing to his face and bruising to his side.

A member of the public who was passing shouted at the group and the three men ran away.

They are described as being aged in their 20s and one of them was wearing dark clothing.
