Derbyshire Alert

Derbyshire Alert is a two-way messaging system which helps Derbyshire Constabulary to deliver timely information that has an impact on either the entire county or specific, targeted areas with hyper-local content via email or text messages.

What is Derbyshire Alert?

Derbyshire Alert allows us to send community safety alerts to you quickly and efficiently.

The system can also be used for information appeals of less urgency, for crime prevention advice and to advertise police engagement events. A message can be sent to residents in real time, allowing the public to react quickly where necessary.

Derbyshire Alert works with other agencies including local authorities, Action Fraud and Crimestoppers to deliver messages. This ability to use different channels via other agencies results in huge coverage throughout Derbyshire.

The service is secure and totally free - there are no hidden contracts or costs and you can choose to unsubscribe at any time.

How to register

You're able to join Derbyshire Alert via www.derbyshirealert.co.uk.

On this site you are given options to manage your account, choose what information you receive, how often you receive it, opt out and change your settings at any point.
